HOPE Charitable Trust actively promotes economic empowerment by providing unemployed youth and women with the skills needed for independent or group enterprises.
DDU-GKY Training: In Alakode, Kannur, we provide vocational training and employment opportunities to 380 youngsters under the Labour Ministry of India’s schemes.
Women's Empowerment: In collaboration with LIONS International, we established a garment unit in Pilathara with 21 high-speed industrial machines, enabling 30 women to run their own business.
Self-Help Groups (SHGs): Our roadmap includes the creation of 500 SHGs to provide self-employment for 5,000 jobless youth across Kerala.
Sustainable Agriculture: We promote "Bio-cultivation" and are working toward creating "Ksheera Gramam" (Milk Village) and "Green Valleys" to encourage agricultural entrepreneurship.
Additionally, through partnerships with organizations like REACH and the Community Polytechnic Scheme, the trust offers vocational training to unemployed individuals, supporting them in establishing independent or group enterprises. With a goal to create 500 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and provide self-employment opportunities to 5,000 jobless youth in the coming years, HOPE Charitable Trust is actively working towards enhancing economic prospects for the unemployed throughout Kerala.
